POSITION SUMMARY: (TEMPORARY STUDENT INTERN) NOVUS Health Student Intern is a temporary position that will work directly with Quality Management and Behavioral Health on a HRSA Capacity Building grant project. This project will engage a student intern to assist in developing an outcome survey and needs assessment survey relating to the integration of medical and behavioral health care particularly with individuals living with HIV. This project is time sensitive and will require both in-person and remote work.
Reports To: Director of Programs & Services
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
- Assist with development of a comprehensive outcome survey for individuals utilizing behavioral health services and engaged in Ryan white care services.
- Develop a brief needs assessment survey for integrated health service delivery.
- Conduct focus groups to determine needs and outcomes for BH integration.
- Identify any differences or challenges faced by multiple populations including identifying barriers for those living with HIV.
- Work collaboratively with Quality Management and BH to implement tools and evaluate program.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Intern in Public Health, social services field.
- Experience with health disparities particularly around HIV care.
- Experience with previous research and writing project.
- Master levels preferred.
