WHAT THIS ROLE ENTAILS:

You'll work a full-time Monday through Friday schedule between 7 AM and 5 PM. As our Reefer Trailer Mechanic, your responsibilities will include repairing and maintaining tractor-trailer refrigeration units by performing preventative maintenance and heavy-duty repairs. You will diagnose and repair refrigeration units, troubleshoot electrical systems, and perform minor repairs on door seals, mud flaps, hardware, and electrical components. You'll inspect and repair components, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Operating from a service truck, you'll perform outdoor inspections and repairs, utilizing your skills in reading electrical schematics and technical literature. Your role will also involve using our computer system to create, track, and complete work orders accurately. Collaborating with a team of skilled technicians, you'll assist in reefer and trailer repairs, ensuring our fleet remains in optimal condition

What we need from you:

  • Previous Reefer Trailer Mechanic experience required
  • Ability to diagnose and repair unit per alarm codes
