About the role:

As a Marketing Specialist, you will support the Brand Marketing Team in the execution of integrated marketing programs & projects that contribute to the brand strategy and marketing excellence for Edible and emerging brand(s) within the portfolio. You will support Marketing Managers and the Marketing Director in the execution of day-to-day tasks and project work in order to build brand awareness, acquire new customers, and drive sales and loyalty.

Additionally, you’ll have ownership over the development and execution of our in-store point-of-purchase merchandising program, as well as working directly with Franchisees to execute local, store-level marketing campaigns and initiatives.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the development & execution of national and local marketing campaigns & initiatives across digital and in-store channels
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Creative teams on the creation of campaign briefs and strategy plans
  • Help maintain marketing calendars and project timelines to ensure timely execution of marketing activities
  • Work directly with franchisees to support store-level marketing needs to drive sales
  • Ensure franchisees are adopting and correctly implementing the brand visual identity, and in-store printed merchandising materials  
  • Own the development, execution and distribution of in-store point-of-purchase (POP) merchandising kits, working closely with cross-functional teams and external print vendors to flawlessly execute and deliver
  • Assist in the development and execution of influencer marketing initiatives
  • Contribute to market research as needed to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Leverage data and insights to inform effectiveness of marketing efforts, and suggest new ideas or areas for optimization
  • Act as a brand ambassador and guardian of the brands, ensuring ideas and activations are aligned with the Edible brand standards and that the brand is represented accurately in all national and local materials.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years marketing experience, Advertising agency and/or eCommercea bonus
  • You naturally speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles, getting messages across so that they’re understood, and outcomes delivered
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications or a related field preferred not required
  • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office proficiency
