Position Overview

Routinely service machinery and mechanical equipment


Supervisory Responsibilities

None


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform regular and preventive maintenance requirements on equipment
  • Troubleshooting skills. Candidate must be able to have familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems.  Ability to diagnose complex machinery and equipment. 
  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure equipment is compliant with manufacturer’s requirements
  • Perform scheduled PMs on equipment based upon hours of use and/or date as required by manufacturer
  • Maintain complete and accurate records for all maintenance and repairs performed
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company and all regulatory rules and standards
  • Pick up parts and supplies as needed
  • Ensure that all repairs (equipment and vehicle) are made in accordance with regulations
  • Experience with CAT and/or Liebherr equipment preferred but not required
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly be required to:

  • Walk/Move on flat surfaces, equipment, and rugged outdoor terrain
  • Climb ladders and stairs
  • Lift up to 75 pounds
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl to get to low lying and underneath equipment and machines
  • Use fine motor grasping skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate tools and may use repetitive motions of the fingers, hand, and wrist
  • Perform tasks that require both close vision and distance vision proficiency
  • Work in outdoor weather conditions, if necessary
  • Wear all Personal Protective Equipment required to perform the task in a safe and effective manner
