Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Partner Marketing to manage and drive Sorenson Communications’ strategic partnerships. The primary focus of this role is to develop and execute marketing partnership strategies, maintain and grow key partnerships, as well as manage senior executive-level partner counterparts as the primary relationship owner for the organization. The role also interfaces closely with Leadership and various cross-functional teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in partnership and relationship management.

As the Director of Partner Marketing, you will play a crucial leadership role in shaping and advancing our partnership program, a growing initiative aimed at leveraging our marketing activities through strategic process innovation, operational efficiency and stringent compliance. Your leadership will directly influence our ability to engage customers, drive business growth, and maintain our position as a leader in the language services industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement partner marketing strategies to execute and maintain marketing partner relationships.
  • Own the end-to-end relationship with partners and maintain senior executive-level contacts.
  • Collaborate with Leadership, Sales and other cross-functional teams to ensure we build and grow partnerships aligned with the organization’s top priorities & objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and manage campaigns to build brand awareness, generate sales leads and ultimately commercial value to the business.
  • Drive business reviews with partners and ensure the delivery of high-impact results.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and optimization within the market.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics related to partner marketing activities, including partner acquisition, revenue generation, and customer engagement.
  • Drive continuous improvement through testing, optimization, and iteration of partner marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Travel Requirements

Travel Requirements: 25-50%

Education

Minimum: 4 Year/Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

Preferred: Graduate Degree, MBA

Experience

Minimum Years of Experience:

  • 15+ years business development or partnerships experience in technology or related industries

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Successful track record in managing complex partners at senior executive levels
  • Analytical mindset and strategic acumen
  • Demonstrated hands-on execution and follow-through
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, tactics, and strategies, with the ability to translate them into effective partner marketing programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a strong interest in innovation and finding new ways to reach and engage target audiences.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, tools, and to handle other computer components.
  • Regular and predictable attendance required.
