Overview:

ESO Consultants is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Lead who is passionate about software testing and possesses expertise in automating Web/PC and cloud service interactions. The ideal candidate will be adept at writing comprehensive, well-documented test suite code and possess a knack for identifying software breaking issues.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Lead

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain automation scripts based on test cases identified for automation.

- Conduct manual testing, including writing and executing functional, smoke, sanity, regression, and UI testing.

- Log defect status in Defect Tracking system and communicate results in accordance with team procedures.

- Experience testing Amazon/Azure Cloud technologies and services.

- Execute and analyze automated regression suites to ensure quality deliveries.

- Initiate process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, simplify processes, and improve quality.

- Plan tests and create test strategy documents in accordance with testing scope and coverage.

- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

- Participate in production deployments and releases to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of software testing experience.

- B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited university.

- Passionate about software testing with the key ability to think critically to identify software breaking issues.

- Experience with C#, Java.

- Experience with UI automation.

- Experience testing Amazon Cloud technologies and services.

- Tested and released at least one Web and/or PC product with cloud services interactions to market.

- Proven ownership of test projects, designing test approaches, documenting and regressing bugs, and executing test passes.

- Prior experience with PaaS such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Automated Test Tools: Selenium, Appium, Winium, TestNG, JSON, and others.

- Testing and ALM Tools: TFS, JIRA, Maven, Soasta, or other industry-accepted resources.

- Programming Concepts: OOP, Java, .NET, C#, SQL, XML, REST APIs.
