The Controller will optimize financial performance by ensuring financial policies, procedures and controls are in compliance with corporate and will be a strategic business partner in managing financial decisions.

  • Lead and direct all financial operations of the organization, including leading the monthly close process, managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and fixed assets for the company
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP
  • Understand financial performance, cost drivers, variances, distribution costs and anything that impacts the financial results
  • Communicate result to executive and operational leadership to promote efficiency and process improvements
  • Ensure all accounting policies are compliant with regulatory bodies and company policies
  • Ensure compliance with Sox
  • Provide effective leadership to accounting personnel, and train, mentor, lead and course correct as needed
  • Work with internal and external customers (including auditors) to support and provide reporting and analysis as needed

The Controller is a critical role, and exceptional leadership and communication skills are required. In addition, the candidate should have:

  • CPA required
  • Exceptional accounting and financial reporting experience
  • Experience with management of an accounting team
  • Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively
  • Big 4 public accounting and/or experience with Sox controls strongly preferred
