Description

Seeking a Performance Analyst to support the Lean-Agile Coaching Program Implementation Clinical Informatics and Data Management Office of Health Informatics within the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Has experience in analyzing user performance needs and translating those needs into actionable and testable Lean-Agile management system requirements documents. A Performance Analyst has the knowledge and experience to create value stream and workflow maps that ensure thorough assessment of system performance for each defined requirement. A Performance Analyst can evaluate performance reports and results during all phases of testing, documenting findings in formal test reports. A Performance Analyst can trace test results to requirements and present findings in oral and written reports.

A Performance Analyst works effectively with multidisciplinary Agile teams to help them identify What good looks like, and develop hypotheses. A Performance Analyst collects data from digital analytics and other sources, makes the case for additional tracking and data collection, ensures data is accurate and significant and provide analysis and actionable insight through effective storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Support teams to identify "what good looks like" and develop hypothesis
  • Collect relevant and accurate data from digital and offline sources
  • Take responsibility for audit and testing of data collection
  • Produce accurate, engaging and actionable analysis of online and offline data sources to derive priority user needs and user behavior
  • Work closely with user researchers to combine the "what" and "why" of user behavior
  • Provide recommendations for action based on user data in easily understandable and engaging ways
  • Identify delivery obstacles to improving performance measurements and working with teams to overcome those obstacles

Requirements

Education

  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelors Degree.


Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in medium to large organizations consistent with SAFe
  • Some experience working in support of healthcare or healthcare technology environments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
  • Strong Agile mindset, shaped by extensive experience and responding to situations based on intuition; demonstrated responsibility for role modeling a good Agile mindset, and how actions are guided by principles and values
  • Exposure to a variety of situations have shaped how they apply a broad knowledge of different Agile practices and patterns; understands team level frameworks and how to operate successfully at scale
  • High emotional intelligence and sensitivity
  • Able to analyze and to think quickly and to resolve conflict
  • Able to adapt to a changing environment
  • Skilled at supporting multiple clients at a time
  • Self-motivated, and able to maintain a professional, positive, can-do attitude while staying focused in the middle of distraction
