This individual will assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing and managing all aspects of the nursing department. This includes providing top-quality care to our clients, managing and educating nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a positive and professional work environment. The Assistant Director of Nursing will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standard of care that Unicity Homecare is known for.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations and standards of practice.
- Evaluate and oversee the quality of the care provided to clients, and implement improvements as needed.
- Oversee a small Client caseload - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement client care plans.
- Mentor and educate care staff on best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff, client, families, and other healthcare professionals.
-Conduct performance evaluations for care staff and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Serve as a role model for professional behavior and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
