Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHealthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Management Analyst. The Management Analyst will support the Office for the Advancement of Early Care and Education. The Office for the Advancement of Early Care and Education (OAECE) serves as the Los Angeles County hub to strengthen early care and education practice, policy, and systems. The Child Care Planning Committee (Planning Committee) engages parents, early educators, community organizations, public agencies, and the public in collaborative planning efforts to improve the overall early care and education infrastructure of LA County, including the quality and continuity, affordability, and accessibility of child care and development services for all families. A key project of the Planning Committee is integrating the early care and education mixed delivery system into Universal PreKindergarten (UPK). The UPK management analyst supports the staff analyst in convening the planning committee, coordinating workgroups/Ad hocs, delivering training, supporting UPK liaisons at Resource and Referral agencies, managing data, and completing reports
The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and is initially funded through 9/16/25.
Pay Rate-
$34.63/hr

Skills/Experience:
  • Option 1: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university -AND- Two years of experience performing basic to routine analytical assignments that involved researching, analyzing, and synthesizing data, as well as recommending solutions to problems related to administrative or program support functional areas.
    -OR-
  • Option 2: A Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to core administrative areas such as contract development and administration or human resources; health programs analysis; or in a discipline related to the core business function or mission of the department.
    -OR-
  • Option 3: Four years of experience performing basic to routine analytical assignments which involved researching, analyzing, and synthesizing data, as well as recommending solutions to problems related to administrative or program support functional areas.
  • A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
Required Skills:
  • At least 1 year working in the early care and education system, especially efforts related to increasing access, improving quality, supporting early educators, or engaging parents and communities
  • Knowledge of child care Resource and Referral agencies and/or school districts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working on systems improvement strategies.
  • A minimum of a bachelors degree in early childhood education, social work, sociology, psychology, public policy, public health, or a related field.
