As a Venture Capital Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting our portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and valuation of potential investment opportunities. This includes building and maintaining financial models, performing market research, and assessing the financial health and growth potential of target companies.

  • Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process by analyzing business plans, financial statements, and other relevant documents. Identify key risks and opportunities associated with potential investments.

  • Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to provide insights and recommendations to the investment team.

  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and investment committees. Summarize key findings, insights, and recommendations to support investment decisions.

  • Portfolio Support: Support the management of portfolio companies by monitoring performance metrics, assisting with financial planning, and providing strategic recommendations.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the investment team, as well as with external advisors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
  • Experience in financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
  • Solid understanding of venture capital processes and startup dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, PitchBook).
