About the role:We're hiring a Content Creator to constantly engage with consumers and audiences, look for trends and insights, and actively monitor and analyze competitors' social media platforms. This role will help bring best-in-class recommendations to our client's brand team, while proactively working with internal colleagues and key client stakeholders to develop, implement, track, and optimize content across each social platform.
The Content Creator will represent the brand's voice, monitor conversations, post content, and manage the daily operations of various social challenges. This role will take briefs and ensure projects are completed on time and ready for digital delivery. Our ideal candidate comes from an advertising agency, has worked on a wide range of digital projects and has familiarity with design and motion graphics in a social media-focused environment.
What you will be doing:- Help build, grow, and manage online communities for our client's key consumer brands
- Social listening for conversations, topics, trends that brands can engage in
- Create and develop community strategy, engagement, and growth plan
- Identify and track relevant community data metrics/develop monthly reporting and outline key insights
- Keep up to date with the latest social trends & tools and bring fresh ideas on how to use them
- Entertain people with your writing across different tones of voice
- Designs for the end-to-end lifecycle of the target audience(s) from concept to execution
- Guarantee final deliverables meet design and production requirements and expectations
- Develop, adapt, optimize, and deploy assets according to social media best practices, while adhering to brand guidelines
- Pitch creative solutions in response to marketing strategies
- Oversee and manage the preparation of all finished files that will comply with the correct output specifications
- Creating timely and culturally relevant content optimized for platform and audience
- Act as the brand guardian to ensure all work produced is faithful to the client's brand guidelines
- Adoption and use of the brand's voice – responding to and engaging with the user community
- Develop social media content calendar
- Repost paid advertising and influencer content to owned pages
- Social monitoring and response, working with CRC (Consumer Response Center) and passing on/escalating consumers that require CRC attention
- Accept and provide feedback and iterate over designs in a highly-collaborative, team environment
- 5+ years of experience in social media management
- 4+ years of digital design experience in an advertising, branding or in-house agency
- Experience using analytical/social listening tools for reporting and to gather insights
- Experience growing and engaging a community and building a significant follower base on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Passion for delivering on-brand and on-brief social communications
- Pro-active planning and leadership of creative community initiative
- Practical knowledge of how to manage social media channels especially with their intricacies
- A thirst to learn more and to discover new and exciting trends within the social space
- Ability to manage and filter workflow and prioritize workloads to maximize productivity
- Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top-tier agency service
- Ability to learn and understand consumer experience with client's products/services/promotions
- Expertise in brand safety on social platforms
- Strong structure and clarity to the creative process
- Great sense of humor and creativity yet serious minded
- Content creation skills (blogs, tweets, gifs, memes/other visuals)
- Animation skills are an asset
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to recognize superior design and maintain a consistent aesthetic
- Excellent interpersonal and follow up skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of consumer-packaged goods
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $80,000.00 to $90,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package.
