Job Title: Senior Director, Solution Management


POSITION SUMMARY: As Director of Solution Management, you will collaborate with product and engineering, sales and customer success, operations, business stakeholders and customers to identify long term opportunities. You will influence the vision, product strategy and roadmap to grow revenue in the specialty segment, and you will be critical in developing the new solutions competency at CareMetx.

Using your past experience in managing solutions for specialty brands, you will be required to design patient journeys that meet the objectives of specialty brands. Keys to success in this role include understanding the CareMetx technology stack, working across internal product managers, business development, and operations teams and being able to effectively communicate solutions to clients.

What you will do as a ‘Director – Solution Management’ for Specialty Hub Solutions:

Client Solutioning

  • Lead client discovery discussions to understand business requirements and program needs and objectives in order to propose a program solution.
  • Analysis and validation of client’s specific requests, identify and address product gaps.
  • Design and present program patient journeys with cost-effective solutions with the longest possible arc of benefit. Recommend solutions configuration for specialty brands based on existing CareMetx capabilities.
  • Own the definition of our standard solutions and development of CareMetx specialty solutions playbook.
  • Work closely with implementation teams to ensure client implementations aligns well with solution definitions.

Identify and recommend new product/platform features

  • Work with product management teams to standardize the solutions in alignment with current capabilities across product lines.
  • Function as the voice of the specialty brand personas to internal product managers; champion changes to existing platforms that will support the needs of patients, providers, and brands in the patient journey.
  • Identify gaps in our product and service offering as compared to competitors in the industry and maintain a dashboard of competing providers, and lead reviews of the dashboard on a quarterly basis.
  • Specify and oversee the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers. Define roadmap strategy for specialty brands and assist product managers in defining new user requirements. Validate prototypes with customers.
  • Document and validate business case with sales and customers including business model projections.
  • Analyze financial data to track revenue, unit sales, GM% and company target forecasts.
  • Analyzes market conditions and competitors' products.
  • Collaborates with executives and translates their vision into action
  • Consults with product team to make sure there is a balance between business and product requirements and technical feasibility
  • Communicates, coordinates, and negotiates with the marketing and sales group.
  • Assumes accountability for revenue and profit targets and other yearly business metrics for the product.
  • Partners with research community, product development, strategic technology group, client service organization, field enablement, and other internal and external stakeholders and senior management to ensure that overall product performance and economics goals are met.
  • Drives product management requirements into overall product portfolio strategy by conducting content consumption analysis

Marketing and Sales Enablement

  • Define overall value proposition and ROI of clients and vertical applications of new capabilities.
  • Collaborate with marketing on market launch plans with internal/external announcements, company website presence, trade show demonstrations, blogs, and the development of sales tools.
  • Assist account executives in managing the expectations of clients through communications of status and technology decisions regarding their requests.
  • Assist business development team as a subject matter expert in responding to RFPs.

About You

  • Deep knowledge of specialty pharmaceutical products from both the patient, provider and payer perspective.
  • Strong understanding of patient access industry trends and drug reimbursement models.
  • Strong understanding of provider workflow challenges and needs"

  • Experience in presenting and communicating key concepts and ideas across all areas of the organization, and to clients and partners.
  • Ability to drive alignment across product teams to build an end-to-end solution that addresses market needs.

Qualifications


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8-10 years working in product or consulting experience working with patient access programs or healthcare technology.
  • Strong understanding of common challenges in the specialty patient journey.
  • Point of view on how technology can help solve patient access challenges.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing new specialty programs that meet or exceed patient support program objectives.
  • Ability to work with both internal cross-functional multidisciplinary teams and client-facing teams to drive to final solution design
  • Ability to articulate complex technology solutions to non-technical stakeholders and client business partners in a variety of ways (whiteboards, decks, voiceover)
