Ambulatory Clinical Cardiac Sonographer

As a Clinical Cardiac Sonographer, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside multi-registered cardiovascular sonographers and utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to visualize and record quality images of the cardiovascular system. With multiple ambulatory locations, you'll enjoy a varied and rewarding workload while supporting the mission and values of this Cardiovascular Services division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both normal and abnormal cardiovascular anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology imaging procedures
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images
- Adhere to established guidelines and departmental policies and procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Support the organization's mission and values through your work ethic and dedication to excellence
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in cardiovascular imaging technology
Requirements:
- Prior acute care experience in ultrasound is required
- Graduate degree in Cardiac Ultrasound and Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound or Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Sonography
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer and Registered Peripheral Vascular Technologist certifications
- Certification/license/registration in the field of practice
