The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients undergoing procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
The surgical center nurse professional will be accountable for supporting FMCNA's quality standards through meeting regulatory requirements and practicing Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). They will assist in implementing facility-specific action plans to achieve FVC quality goals and maintain integrity of medical records. The role also involves obtaining necessary medical history, discussing procedure details with patients, and performing nursing assessments on the day of the procedure.

Working Conditions
The physical demands of this role include frequent prolonged periods of standing, heavy lifting, and moving patients. The work environment is characteristic of a healthcare facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. The successful candidate may be required to wear protective gear in procedure rooms for extended periods.

Requirements
To be eligible for this role, candidates must have a High School Diploma, Associate's Degree desirable, and Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. A Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.) with current state licensure and ACLS certification is required. 4-6 years' related experience in Ambulatory Surgical Center/Vascular Access, Cardiac Cath Lab, or a combination of ASC, surgical, Interventional Radiology and ICU/CCU or emergency department experience is preferred. Proficiency in IV insertion, cardiac rhythm recognition, and medical database software is necessary.
