Job Description

A new opportunity for a Nurse Manager Critical Care has become available at a high accredited acute care hospital in a city on the east side of San Francisco Bay. This hospital is part of a much larger, prominent health system that prides themselves in being of America's top leading health care providers and non-profit health plans. 

While reporting up to the Director ICU, the Nurse Manager Critical Care is expected to lead a team of critical care nurses and other healthare professionals, ensuring they provide the highest quality patient care. This involves scheduling shifts, managing staff levels and promoting teamwork among staff. This Nurse Manager oversees day-to-day operations and performance of the critical care unit within the hospital.

Hospital patients will require intensive monitoring and life-sustaining care, therefore previous management experience within the ICU is very important for consideration of this opportunity. The Nurse Manager Critical Care is also expected to have an active California nursing license with at least a BSN. 

Located on the east side of the San Francisco Bay area, this city specifically happens to be one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the United States. There is also a very renowned food culture here that features a wide range of cuisines that reflect its cultural diversity. This city is home to some of the Bay Area's best dining spots with vibrant food trucks, pop-up restaurants, and fancy sit down.
