Radiation Therapist
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Radiation Therapist to fill an opening with a well-respected healthcare provider in Pittsfield, MA
Daily Responsibilities for Radiation Therapist:
\t- Administer radiation treatments, conduct simulations, handle dosimetry functions, and fabricate blocks for treatment preparation
\t - Exercise initiative and independent judgment while ensuring proper client care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies
\t - Perform radiation therapy treatments as scheduled or in emergencies under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist
\t - Maintain and update procedure manuals as necessary
\t - Manage daily treatment schedules on clinical equipment
\t - Schedule consists of days 5x8's 7:30 am- 4 pm
Required Qualifications for Radiation Therapist:
\t- Must gave completed formal training from a JRCERT accredited radiation therapy program
\t - MALIC - Massachusetts Radiology License
\t - ARRT (T) - Radiation Therapy
\t - BLS/CPR
