We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Healthcare Support Permanent Placement. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the treatment of cancer patients.
Key Responsibilities- Administer radiation treatments and conduct simulations to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.
- Manage dosimetry functions and fabricate blocks for treatment preparation.
- Exercise initiative and independent judgment to ensure proper client care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies.
- Perform radiation therapy treatments as scheduled or in emergencies under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist.
- Maintain and update procedure manuals as necessary.
- Manage daily treatment schedules on clinical equipment.
- Must have completed formal training from a JRCERT accredited radiation therapy program.
- Must have a MALIC - Massachusetts Radiology License.
- Must have an ARRT (T) - Radiation Therapy certification.
- Must have a BLS/CPR certification.
