Regional Operations Manager 4
POSITION SUMMARY
As part of the Corporate Services Team, the primary roles of the Regional Operations Manager are to serve as an "internal consultant" and positively focused "eyes and ears" of Operations Management. Responsibilities include facilitating development of operations supervision/management talent, documenting Crown processes and ensuring they are being followed and partnering with the plant General Managers ("GM" or "GMs") to improve overall plant efficiency and housekeeping. The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining awareness of the above functions within Crown and recommending solutions and improvements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Visit plants as needed and as directed by the GM or COO to provide operations expertise.
- Serve as mentor and trainer for leads and supervisors in proper Crown procedures, and to impart technical acumen about the machinery and the industry.
- Shadow designated employees and provide written assessment with recommendations to GM on needed improvements
- Follow up for continued mentoring and monitoring
- Document Crown Production and Operations processes and ensure they're being followed.
- Document Safety and Housekeeping processes and ensure they're being followed

Only make changes after seeking the approval of the GM, and changes should be made in concert with training the operator/manager.
