Roles & Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all aspects of Zoom administration, utilization, and troubleshooting for Zoom meetings and webinars.
- Serve as system administrator to create, modify, and deactivate user accounts. Assign appropriate roles and permissions based on user needs.
- Create meeting links and passcodes for Zoom meetings and webinars and provide day-of-meeting/event technical support and oversight.
- Collaborate with external organizations and audiovisual and information technology (AV/IT) support teams (i.e., conference centers, hotels, etc.) to integrate company Zoom licenses with external facility AV/IT equipment.
- Create, configure, and manage meeting settings, including security features (waiting rooms, passcodes), and recording options.
- Integrate Zoom software and licenses with other hardware, applications, and platforms used to host and conduct meetings and webinars (e.g., conference room and auditorium audiovisual systems, calendars, etc.).
- Provide training sessions and materials for users.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Zoom-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Train meeting participants, panelists, and Zoom users on Zoom features such as breakout rooms, practice sessions, captioning, screen and application sharing, capacity management, Q&A, polling, livestream, etc.
- Track usage metrics and generate reports to assess engagement and performance. Provide insights for optimizing platform use.
- Implement and monitor security best practices to protect user data and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Manage the subscription and licensing for Zoom services, including renewals and budgeting.
- Proven experience and expertise with Zoom administration or similar video conferencing platforms.
- Experience integrating Zoom with AV/IT systems.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with video conferencing technology.
- At least three years of knowledge and experience with a variety of virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Cvent, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel, as needed, to support conferences, meetings, and events.
