\tSalary Range: $33.52 - $43.35/hourlyQualificationsCompletion of education from accredited surgical technician program or certified as GI Technician
\tBLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
\tAt least one year of Surg Tech/GI Tech experience
\tKnowledge and adherence to GI Lab policies and procedures following orientation.
\tSkill in reading documents written in Standard English text such as, administrative policy and procedure manuals.
\tSkill in evaluation and implementation of technical information such as operation manuals and directions for use of disinfectants, lubricants and other cleaning agents.
\tSkill in speaking clearly and distinctly to obtain and convey information to various levels within the organization.
\tWriting skills sufficient to use appropriate vocabulary and grammar when logging, reporting etc.
\tAbility to speak on a one to one basis using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and provide information.
\tAbility to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with all team members and ancillary staff.
\tSkill in performing with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
\tSkill in setting priorities, which accurately reflect importance to job responsibilities.
\tAbility to work independently and interdependently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
\tAbility to adapt to change either in workload or in assignments.
\tSkill and manual dexterity required to work with intricate equipment without dropping or damaging it.
\t Ability to stand for prolonged time periods
