Avera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus
Position Highlights:
\t- May be eligible for $5,000 sign-on bonus, which is paid out over 24 months

\t - Student Loan Repayment: This position may be eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

Job Summary
\t- Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
\t - Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer’s status.
\t - Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
Education and/or Experience
\t- Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
\t - A minimum of one year of nursing experience is desired.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
\t- Current license from the State of South Dakota Board of Nursing.
\t - CPR certified required, ACLS preferred.
Work Schedule
\t- Day shift; 72 hours every 2 weeks
\t
\t\t- Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
\t\t - Friday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
\t- $20.75 - $29.25 per hour
