Job Description

IATF 16949 experience is required

Our client is a global leader
in the high-performance battery separators industry . Due to their growth, they are seeking a Quality Manager (who can be relocated to the Johnson City TN area) who will 

  • lead
    the efforts to obtain IATF 16949 certification for the lithium-ion (Li-ion)
    battery separator expansion project.
  • maintain
    the company library of compliance resources ensuring their accuracy, quality,
    and integrity and ensure company third party accreditations are maintained.
  • coordinate internal audits and monitor the compliance to and effectiveness of
    the Quality Management System (QMS).

Requirements:

  • · BS
    degree in appropriate field required.
  • · Five
    years + IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems experience.
  • · Project
    Management experience ideally in the battery industry .
  • · Experience
    with IATF certification (Automotive, etc.) Auditor Certification
    preferred.
  • · Strong
    interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • · Skilled
    in working across multiple disciplines including Sales, R&D and Operations.
  • · Excellent
    written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
  • · Able
    to work with minimal supervision.
  • · Ability
    to prioritize, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot.
  • · Ability
    to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
