What you could be doing as a GPU Hardware Architecture Intern?

 

For this role, you will need to have architecture and hardware/software development skills and be able to think creatively. In this role you will work with leading GPU Architects to prototype architectural improvements, and validate and propose innovative architecture ideas. Your work will make a difference and enable Arm to deliver industry leading GPU IP

We are looking for individuals who:
  • Pursuing an MS or PhD in electrical/computer engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Coursework in Computer Architecture and understanding of GPU vs. CPU tradeoffs.
  • Proficiency in assembly language and strong programming skills in C++.
  • Creative thinker with effective communication and analytical skills.
  • Excellent team player, self-motivated, and results-focused.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
  • Knowledge of GPU architectures, including the fixed function units for graphics processing
  • Graphics knowledge including (but not limited to) the graphics pipeline
  • Knowledge of graphics and compute APIs for GPUs (OpenGL, Vulkan, DX, OpenCL, CUDA, etc)
  • Experience working on CPU/GPU simulators (such as GEM5)
