Responsibilities
- Perform electroencephalographic examinations and electromagraphic examinations for adult and pediatric patients.
- Assists/performs sleep studies as needed.
- Assist/perform NCS studies as needed
- Maintain documentation to ensure timely accurate results of procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients about the procedure to be performed in order to obtain information to offer reassurance.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High school/GED
- Registered electroencephalographic technologist (R.EEG.T). Registered polysomnographic technologist (R.PGS T.) will be considered.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One (1) year of full-time experience in neurodiagnostics lab.
Preferred Requirements:
- Associate degree
