Responsibilities
  • Perform electroencephalographic examinations and electromagraphic examinations for adult and pediatric patients.
  • Assists/performs sleep studies as needed.
  • Assist/perform NCS studies as needed
  • Maintain documentation to ensure timely accurate results of procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients about the procedure to be performed in order to obtain information to offer reassurance.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High school/GED
  • Registered electroencephalographic technologist (R.EEG.T). Registered polysomnographic technologist (R.PGS T.) will be considered.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One (1) year of full-time experience in neurodiagnostics lab.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Associate degree
