RESPONSIBILITIES | WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Special Education Teachers create and follow individualized education plans for our amazing students with special needs.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and assess student progress, adjusting your approach as needed to keep them on track.
  • Collaborative Environment: Special Education Teachers work with support staff, including paraprofessionals and parents, to build a supportive and welcoming learning environment.
  • Student Advocacy: Advocate for our students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with all necessary laws and regulations.
  • Welcoming Classroom: Special Education Teachers foster a positive classroom where every student feels engaged and can succeed.

QUALIFICATIONS | WHAT YOU BRING
  • Education Enthusiast: Bachelor's degree in special education or education.
  • Certified Pro: A valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • IEP Guru: Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Communication Star: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Heart and Soul: Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs.
