Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a Phlebotomist/Laboratory Assistant I to join our team.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood specimens from patients
- Verify patient information and ensure proper identification before collecting samples
- Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing
- Follow proper protocols and procedures for specimen collection and processing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety guidelines and infection control protocols
- Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient comfort during the procedure
Hours: FULL TIME or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks working varied shifts based on department needs.
Experience/Qualifications
- Completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Successful completion of a phlebotomy program or related health care training (MA, CNA, EMT, etc.)
