Avera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
\t- The LPN is accountable for performing professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
\t - Coordinates care in an interdisciplinary manner and is accountable for all residents assigned to him/her according to the established nurse practice act.
\t - Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.
\t - Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
\t - Promotes and nurtures Mother Joseph Manor’s philosophy of a resident centered care environment.
Education and/or Experience
\t- Graduation from an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
\t - Geriatric, medical, or surgical experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
\t- Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Dakota.
\t - Membership in a professional organization preferred.
\t - BLS certification required.
Work Schedule
\t- Day shift; 72 hours every 2 weeks
\t
\t\t- 6:00 am - 6:30 pm
\t\t - Every 3rd weekend
\t\t - Every 3rd holiday

Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
\t- $22.75 - $31.50 per hour
