  • Call Requirement: 24 hours either Saturday or Sunday, 1 to 2 days per month
  • Weekend Requirement: May include up to 2 weekend days per month
  • Call response time within 20 minutes
  • Unit Specific Information
  • # of suites: 11 OR Suites & 5 Endo Suites
  • # of cases per day: Main 35-40 & Endo between 20-30
  • Scrubbing requirements for RN's: Occasionally may be required to scrub & hold retractors
  • Techs may not need to be certified through NBSTSA
  • EMR System: Picis OR Manager
  • Clinical Lead Charge available until 5 pm, afterward charge duties shift to on-duty nurses
  • IV Team and Pharmacy: Staff available 24/7

  • CST's schedule is the same as RNs'
  • Holidays: call - sign up in the vacation book - if needed

  • Common types of cases: Mainly ortho total joint replacement, revision, general colorectal GYN Neuro ENT, vascular, thoracic, podiatry. Robotic gastric sleeves also mentioned
  • Steril Processing Info: Previous travel experience in acute OR preferred
  • Sterrad system questions present
