Job Summary and QualificationsAssess, plan and evaluate patient care needs. Prioritize patient care based on acuity level and available resources. Assist physician during examination, treatment and procedures. Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds and monitor vital signs. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition, as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation system. Provide age and culturally appropriate care. This is a Level I Trauma facility so you will take care of patients working in collaboration with Trauma Teams. Patients are often treated due to a variety of injuries such as: traumatic car accidents, gunshot and stab wounds, brain injuries and/or major burns.
What qualifications you will need:- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment

Our services include trauma, burn, surgical, women’s and children’s services, behavioral health and diagnostic services. We have two full service free-standing ER facilities.
