Job DescriptionProject Manager | Tampa, FL

Role: Project Manager responsible for managing MOB (Maintenance of Business) 2nd Sourcing API/Chemical initiatives, critical to the Eye Care Pharmaceutical and Lens Care Medical Device business.

Key Activities / Responsibilities:

  2. Ability to lead cross-functional teams including R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement and Operations.  
    \t
  3. Develop project strategies, resource plans, and schedules to support project execution.
    \t
  4. Ensure project plans and timelines are in place for all planned activities including a detailed project charter/scope, risk assessment, and milestone schedule.
    \t
  5. Manage activities with material suppliers, testing labs, and operations teams. 
    \t
  6. Ensure project documentation is completed and approved per procedures. 
    \t
  7. Responsible for communication across operations, procurement, R&D, and external suppliers.
    \t
  8. Responsible for initiating and managing Quality Change Requests (QCRs) to completion.


Qualifications:


  • \t
  • BS/MS Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
    \t
  • 10-15 years of industry experience as a project manager.
    \t
  • 5-10 years of experience in a regulated environment.
    \t
  • PMP certification desired, but not required.
    \t
  • Project management, process improvement, organizational, and documentation skills.
