Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you would perform all established echocardiography procedures. While communicating the nature of the procedure to the patient, you will address any questions or concerns.

· Performs accurate analysis of all cardiac anatomy and assimilates appropriate data necessary for interpretation of the study.

· Assists the physician as needed during procedures and monitors physiological parameters during procedures.

· Performs job to ensure quality care is provided within defined area of accountability.

· Restocks work areas with necessary supplies. Keeps work areas clean and orderly to promote patient safety.

· Maintains lab equipment to ensure optimal functioning by inspecting for breakdown, troubleshooting and communicating with appropriate repair persons.

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Vocational School Graduate
