Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Provides care to assist Interventional Radiologist in Specials Radiology procedures.
  • Ensures Radiation safety.

Administers IV contrast in a surgical/radiological setting.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • MRT State of Texas
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) Required
  • Certified Vascular Interventional Radiology must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • Associate Degree
  • Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology
  • Three to five years experience in Specials interventional radiology preferred
