Job Title: Plastic Mold Machinist with Maintenance Experience

**Overview: **
We are seeking a skilled Plastic Mold Machinist with Maintenance Experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in operating and maintaining plastic mold machines, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting plastic injection molding equipment, as well as conducting routine maintenance tasks to uphold machinery functionality.

**Responsibilities: **

1. **Machine Operation: ** Operate plastic mold machines efficiently and safely to produce high-quality plastic components according to specifications.

2. **Setup and Adjustment: ** Set up molds, dies, and machines for production runs. Make necessary adjustments to achieve desired product dimensions, quality, and cycle times.

3. **Troubleshooting: ** Identify and resolve issues with plastic mold machines promptly to minimize production delays. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

4. **Maintenance Tasks: ** Perform routine maintenance tasks on plastic mold machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or defective parts. Conduct preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure equipment longevity.

5. **Quality Assurance: ** Monitor production processes to ensure product quality meets established standards. Conduct inspections and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality control.

6. **Safety Compliance: ** Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to create a safe working environment. Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions to mitigate risks.

7. **Documentation: ** Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance activities, production output, and quality control measures. Generate reports and documentation as required.

8. **Team Collaboration: ** Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and supervisors to optimize machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements.

**Requirements: **

1. **Experience: ** Minimum of 5 years of experience operating plastic mold machines in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience in maintenance and repair of industrial machinery is required.

2. **Technical Skills: ** Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting plastic injection molding equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

3. **Maintenance Expertise: ** Demonstrated ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and parts replacement. Experience with preventive maintenance practices is preferred.
