High-volume, well-established custom injection molding company is currently seeking an experienced Junior Mold Maker.

Essential Duties:

To build and maintain plastic injection molds. Mold makers are responsible for taking the molds from the design phase through building completion. With guidance and supervision, must be able to perform all functions on milling machines, EDM machine (electrical discharge machine), surface grinders, drilling machines and other shop-related equipment. May include CNC machines. Must be able to read blueprints.

Education:  Completion of apprenticeship program preferred.               

Experience:  1-5 years experience required.                                                    

Licenses/Certificates: Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship, preferred.             

Machines, Equipment, Tool Skills: Milling machines, EDM machines, surface grinders, drilling machine, manual/powered chain hoists, lift carts, measuring equipment, calculator, forklift.
