ProCare Therapy is seeking an experiencedSpeech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for an extended school year program. This is a part-time position running from June 3rd to July 3rd, working with K-12th grade students. This position is M-F from 8 am to 1:30 pm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students develop their communication skills and be comfortable working in a school environment.

Responsibilities:

Support Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to K-12th grade students.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Assist with data collection and reporting on student progress.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective communication and support for students.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
California SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
