Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (On-site Only)

Location: Burbank, IL

Job Description:

Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of students in grades K through 6th within our community.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
  3. Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students both individually and in small group settings.
  4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
  5. Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
  6. Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  7. Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other collaborative efforts to support student achievement.
  8. Stay informed about best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  1. Masters degree from an ASHA accredited university in Speech-Language Pathology.
  2. Active state-level licensure and/or certification in Speech-Language Pathology, or ability to obtain licensure in Illinois.
  3. Experience working in schools or with children is preferred but not required.
  4. Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology required.
