Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to provide respiratory therapy services.

Duties:

- Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate respiratory care plans
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment

Qualifications:

- Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Experience in acute care settings, including ICU
- Competency in basic life support, airway management, and ventilator management
- Ability to administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus
