A well-established school district working to serve students (pre-k through 12th grade) is currently seeking part-time nurses for their education programs. School Nurses who join this team of professionals are responsible for providing medical assistance to students and completing multiple tasks ranging from assessing minor injuries to requesting emergency services.

The base pay range for this position is $45 to $48 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. This is a temp-to-perm assignment; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more

*Responsibilities:*
* Works cooperatively to ensure a healthy school climate and to minimize absence due to illness.
* Provides special health care and related services to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
* Administers prescribed medication to students in accordance with law and board policy.
* Promotes healthy/safe school environment by assisting the administration and staff to maintain safe and sanitary conditions throughout the
* Reports problems promptly to the Supervisor of Nursing Staff
* Provides emergency care in case of sudden illness and administers first-aid in case of injury to students or staff according to established policies.
* Conducts health screenings as required by law and/or board.

*Requirements:*
* Registered Nurse – New Jersey State Licensure
* Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
* CPR certification
