CAD Technician

*About the Role:*
We are currently seeking a CAD Technician for a summer project in Rockford, IL. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize CAD experience and contribute to a leading fastener manufacturer's projects.

*Responsibilities:*
* Utilize CAD/AutoCAD experience to support entry into Solid Works system.
* Create and modify detailed engineering drawings and models.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate representation of design concepts.
* Maintain organized files and documentation related to CAD drawings and projects.
* Adhere to established standards and procedures for CAD design and drafting.

*Requirements:*
* Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Solid Works.
* Previous experience or coursework in CAD drafting, design, or engineering.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
