overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the highest level of care for our residents. This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring quality care and adherence to resident rights
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Oversee the hiring, training, and scheduling of nursing personnel
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and technologies

Skills:
- Doctorate degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a nursing home or acute care setting required
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in supervising a team
- In-depth knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
- Familiarity with resident rights and regulations governing long-term care facilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to develop and implement care plans based on individual resident needs
- Proficient in physiology knowledge related to geriatric care

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
