Driver/Attendant for Daycare Center

*Responsibilities:*
* *Assist Participants:* Provide support and assistance to adults attending the day care center. This may include helping with mobility, personal care, and other daily activities.
* *Supervision:* Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times. Be aware of their whereabouts and follow emergency procedures (e.g., fire drills, lockdown drills).
* *Activities:* Assist with organizing and participating in daily activities, such as arts and crafts, games, exercise, and social interactions.
* *Special Skills:* Work with participants who have special needs or unique skills. Tailor activities to their abilities and interests.
* *Companionship:* Engage in conversations, listen to participants, and provide emotional support.
* *Documentation:* Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, activities, and any incidents.
* *Collaboration:* Coordinate with other staff members, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure holistic care.
* *Hygiene and Nutrition:* Assist with toileting, feeding, and other personal care tasks as needed.
* *Medication Management:* Follow protocols for administering medications to participants.
* *Transportation:* If required, accompany participants during transportation to and from the center.

*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Experience working with adults with special needs or disabilities.
* Compassionate, patient, and understanding.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.50 per hour
