Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction. This is a full-time position located in a hospital setting.

Duties:

- Perform physical examinations and assessments on patients

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history

- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as venipuncture and sonography

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions

- Assist with behavioral health interventions as needed

- Perform laboratory tests and interpret results

- Assist with wound care, including suturing when necessary

- Respond to medical emergencies and provide trauma medicine as required

Requirements:

- Valid Registered Nurse license in [state]

- Minimum [2] years of experience in a hospital or medical/surgical setting

- Experience working with children is preferred

- Proficient in physical assessments, medication administration, and venipuncture

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
