Responsibilities of the Point of Care Coordinator (MT) (MLS) (CLS)

Point of Care Coordinator oversees point of care testing activities for the laboratory and ensures quality standards and regulatory compliance
Assures all POC testing users are competent and compliant.
Responsible for visiting various laboratory sites and offices to inspect POC testing protocols, quality control and competency.
Will perform bench work as needed and will work weekends and holidays on rotation in a clinical department

Requirements of the Point of Care Coordinator (MT) (MLS) (CLS)

ASCP or equivalent certification required
BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science required
3+ years of clinical laboratory experience required
