Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Dispatch Clerk manages and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the division.

This is a full-time position that sits onsite at our Columbia Bush River Division. The ideal candidate will have prior transportation experience. Administrative experience is required.

Day to Day of the position:

Identify, select, train, and mentor location staff.
Effectively and frequently communicate with location staff and support team members.
Scheduling and dispatching drivers to appropriate locations according to

predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs.

Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from drivers, &

supervisors Manager.

Using multi-line telephone or text messages to contact employees or emergency

personnel.

Preparing daily work such as schedules.
Preparing work orders for Drivers or receiving work orders from the VA office.
Being in charge of communications within company-assigned areas with sub-

contractors.

Keeping and organizing Driver Files, Private Pays.
Maintaining driver hours.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Previous office or administrative experience.
MS Office.
The ability to multitask.
