Candidates must possess experience in managing a facility that produces corrugated boxes
Prior experience in overseeing the conversion of brown paper into boxes is necessary.

The Head of Operations has full responsibility for the operational metrics that will drive the business. This includes a strong focus on production performance and profitability at the corrugated packaging manufacturing facility. This entails managing and emphasizing measures associated with production, overseeing personnel, adhering to safety guidelines and reporting, as well as managing overall quality and cost, all while prioritizing success in regional sales.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure the plant's profitability and meet all safety and quality requirements

Develop and implement business plans that align with company goals and the overall strategic vision

Build a high-performing team and collaborate to drive organizational change initiatives

Initiate and implement continuous improvement initiatives that align with the strategic business direction

Establish partnerships and collaborate effectively with commercial/sales teams to identify growth opportunities for the facility and maintain relationships with key accounts

Oversee and drive improvements in facility production to meet short-term and long-term objectives and achieve optimal efficiency

Develop strong relationships with other Business Units, Sales, Logistics, Production, Safety, and Quality Managers to enhance customer service across multiple business units

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering - Required

At least 5 years of progressive management experience in a Corrugated Packaging facility, with a minimum of 3 years in operations/production management - Required

Demonstrated knowledge of capital management (P&L and capital budgets) and ability to analyze financial data

Ability to initiate projects to enhance profitability, anticipate potential problems, and make corrections as needed
