As the *Senior Director of Payroll*, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the payroll process for our organization at the corporate level. *Senior Director of Payroll* includes overseeing 12 payroll staff, implementing best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate payroll records. The successful *Senior Director of Payroll* will have a proven track record of effectively managing payroll operations in a complex and dynamic environment.

*Job Qualifications:*
* Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
* *Experience in payroll management, in a *_*leadership role within healthcare *_*(preferably skilled nursing homes)*
* Thorough understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in payroll software and systems, with experience implementing and optimizing payroll technology solutions.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*

*Leadership and Management:*
* Provide leadership and guidance to the payroll team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
* Supervise payroll staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
* Develop and implement departmental goals, objectives, and strategies to optimize payroll processes and enhance efficiency.
* *Payroll Processing:*
* Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes, and processing of payroll transactions.
* Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, including salaried, hourly, and commissioned workers.
* Review and approve payroll reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

*Systems and Technology:*
* Oversee the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software, ensuring they meet the organization's needs and support efficient payroll processing.
* Evaluate and recommend improvements to payroll systems and processes to enhance accuracy, reliability, and usability.
* Provide training and support to payroll staff on the use of payroll systems and tools.

*Reporting and Analysis:*
* Generate and analyze payroll reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
* Prepare and present payroll-related metrics and KPIs to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
* Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll data and support financial reporting processes.
