*Salary: *$46+ depending on years of experience + *Shift Differentials*

*Schedule:* M-F 1:30pm - 10:30pm
*On Call:* weekend rotation every 5th week

*Job Description:*
The MRI technologist is responsible for producing quality MR images while providing optimal patient care and applying all principles of patient safety. MRI technologists are expected to participate in on-going training and education relating to positioning, technique and MRI safety guidelines.

*Requirements:*
* Graduate AMA approved School
* 1+ Year Experience
* Confident with pacemakers

*License Required:* Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
*Certificates Required:* BLS
*Equipment used:* Siemens 1.5 T Sola, Cerner, Unity PACS, Interview PACS
* Achieva 1.5 Philips Magnet experience a plus

*Responsibilities of MRI Tech:*
* Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique and may require remote MR Technologists Assistant oversite.
* Produces high quality diagnostic images. Operation of multiple MR systems may be required.
* Demonstrates the ability to use all channels of communications to address concerns, solve problems, and address conflict.
* Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
* Trains and orients new technologists, patient coordinators and MR Technologist Assistants, on site.
