JOB SUMMARY

 

The Senior Director, Global Brand Management, Luxury – FLEX is a maternity cover for 3-4 months assignment effective July 1, 2024.

This short term assignment is critical in continuing to develop and drive the brand strategy for the iconic W brand with an emphasis on establishing the brand strategy, the branded guest experience, differentiated brand programming and brand service and culture initiatives. This leader will act as a brand ambassador ensuring the strategic direction and growth of the brand and aligns with the overall vision, while driving adherence to strategic and business objectives. This leader must understand the value of and how to drive and sustain brand culture. In addition, this leader manages the team, resources and budget allocation.

 

The Senior Director leads efforts in defining and enhancing the guest experience in a way that is consistent with the brand business models and drives brand relevance, awareness, and perception. This experience ranges from building brand preference for both customers, owners and investors, to on-site product and service touchpoints. To support these efforts, the Senior Director will focus on these priorities 1) support the strategic direction and execution of the brand strategy 2) direct the execution of the brand priorities by cross-functional resources, and 3) drive brand performance. This role will be instrumental in driving collaboration with the Continent Brand teams and ensuring pull through in the regions, and work collaboratively with the Managing Directors in the continents and more closely with the Luxury Operations discipline leaders assigned on the brand’s projects and initiatives.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience Required:

  1. 10+ years’ experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance AND
  2. 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major
  3. OR
  4. 12+ years of relevant professional experience in related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.
  5. A minimum of three years of experience in luxury
  6. Relevant operational and brand experience

Salary Range: $61.10-$85.00                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
